Emergency electrical

How electrical maintenance is scheduled before the next fault

Maintenance is a planned visit, a written condition, or a mid-shift isolate. Those are different products. The 24-hour line is for the isolate.

  • A condition report is not a repair

A written read of the gear before a purchase, a lease, or a fit-out is a document. It is not a quote until you ask for one, and it is not a parts swap on the same ticket.

  • Troubleshooting is a method

The same fault coming back after a parts swap is diagnosis with instruments — not the next convenient device. The cause is named before the next part is replaced.

  • Mid-shift faults

A tripped main, a dark floor, or failed equipment during business hours. The first job is to make it safe. The line is available 24 hours. That is emergency commercial electrical.

  • What the owner gets back

Photos, the permit when one was pulled, and a short description of what was found and what was done. Recurring visits keep that record honest instead of waiting for the next outage.

Electrical maintenance questions

What facility managers ask before a visit is scheduled.

Is someone available after hours?

Yes. The line is available 24 hours. Heat, a burning smell, a dark floor, or equipment that stopped mid-shift — call and say what you can see.

Can you just replace the part that failed?

Not as the first move. If the same fault came back, that is commercial troubleshooting — the cause is named before the next part is replaced.

Do you write condition reports for a purchase or a lease?

Yes. A written read of the gear, not a repair, and not a quote until you ask for one. That is electrical condition reports.

What do you need from us?

What failed or what you want documented, hours the floor has to stay open, and photos of the gear with the doors open. Who has to sign off belongs with that.
