Permits are local, and we know the rules. For a Sacramento address, work inside the city is permitted through the City of Sacramento and unincorporated property through Sacramento County — other cities we serve have their own permitting authorities. We confirm which applies to your address before we file.
We also serve 18 nearby towns across Sacramento, Yolo and Placer counties.

Nothing gets quoted from a description. Before we pick any equipment, we look at what's already there — what the house actually draws, the grounding, the condition of the circuits, and what the permit will require. Sometimes that look shrinks the job: not every panel needs replacing, and not every fault needs a rewire.

If yours is not here, the fastest answer is usually a short phone call — describe what you are seeing and we will tell you what matters.
Yes. Litel Electric holds California contractor license CSLB #1115460, classification C-10 (electrical). You can look the number up on the CSLB register and verify it before anyone visits.
Yes — we're available 24 hours. Call, tell us what you're seeing, and we'll say on that call whether it can wait until morning.
Usually just the circuit we're working on, and only for as long as that part of the job takes. Panel and service work is the exception — the main has to come off — and when it applies, we tell you before the day so you can plan around it.
Every job is priced after we've seen the equipment and the conditions — a panel can't be priced from a description. No figure on this site is a quote.
Leave covers and electrical boxes closed, stop using the affected circuit, and don't keep resetting a breaker that trips. And note what changed just before the problem started — that's usually the most useful thing you can tell us.
Litel Electric is based in Sacramento and works across the city and surrounding communities. If yours isn't listed, mention your address when you call and we'll confirm it directly.

Tell us what is happening, or what you are planning. We read the details, tell you what else we need to know, and explain the next step before anything is scheduled.
You send the problem or the plan, with the address if you have it.
We reply with what it involves and what has to be seen in person.
Nothing is scheduled, and nothing is priced, until the equipment has been looked at.
