Machinery circuits are the last twenty feet: the feed, the disconnect, and how the whip or the bus drop reaches the machine. Moving a machine without redoing that path is how shops live with extension cords.

Industrial machinery arrives with its own control panel built to NFPA 79. Your job is a supply that lands cleanly at the machine’s disconnect, rated for what the panel says it needs — not rewiring the guts of the machine.

Rated to the machine, not a guess
The machine nameplate gives full-load current and a short-circuit current rating the supply has to respect. Landing an oversized feed on a panel with a low SCCR is a hazard label waiting to happen.
